Endodontology means “the science of the inner tooth”.

Endodontology deals with diseases of the dental nerve and aims at preserving the patient’s own teeth.

A variety of dental manual instruments, mechanically operated preparation devices, temporary medical fillings, rinsing and disinfection systems, disinfection with laser light as well as root filling cements are available for the professional treatment of root canals and their fillings.

For example, the root canals can be cleaned gently and efficiently with the VWD Reciproc-Gold device. An integrated apex locator is able to determine precisely the length of the root canal. This makes sure that we clean the canals right down to the root tip area while we protect the bone structures in this area.
